Alo Coffee – Founded in 2020 by Tamiru Tadesse, Alo Coffee sources its beans from small-scale farmers in Ethiopia, cultivating at an average altitude of 2,400+ meters above sea level. The high elevation slows the cherries’ ripening process, resulting in denser beans with complex flavor profiles. Through specialized training programs, Alo empowers local farmers with advanced coffee-growing techniques, ensuring premium quality.

Post-harvest, the beans undergo low-temperature fermentation and extended drying times, intensifying their floral and fruity notes. This meticulous approach earned Alo Coffee global acclaim: in 2021, it claimed 1st and 5th place at Ethiopia’s Cup of Excellence (COE), cementing its reputation for exceptional specialty coffee.
