Finca El Arcangel, one of the Rodríguez family’s farms, processes and improves coffee in Bolivia for the specialty market. Part of the Fincas Rodríguez project, it teaches farmers about coffee agronomy and harvesting techniques. Planted with Red and Yellow Caturra in 2015, the trees have adapted well to the local environment. In recent years, the family has used the esqueleto method to prune the trees, reducing lateral branches to 10 to 15 centimetres and leaving them bare for a year before new growth. This method doubles production. In 2024, Pedro and Daniela Rodríguez visited our roastery, allowing us to taste their coffees and learn about their history and work.
