Story Behind
This lot was produced in collaboration with Tetsu Kasuya, the 2016 World Brewers Cup Champion. Tetsu’s vision for this coffee was to bring people together—to make more friends through coffee and share it with more people, hence the name "Tomodachi" (which means "friend" in Japanese).

The flavor profile is designed for broad appeal, balancing approachable elegance with refined clarity. A gentle, fermentation-derived complexity adds a sophisticated touch. To achieve this, the cherries ferment for four days whole, are pulped, and ferment for another three days. They are then slowly dried over 30 days on raised beds.
